OH....

Went to my sister's in Topeka for a small family Christmas get together. A good time was had by all, well almost all. But hey, that's just me and the Christmas holiday. Not that I didn't want to have a good time, I did. I just don't seem to know how after having so many Christmas holidays in my earlier life screwed up. So instead of loosening up and having fun I spend most of my time looking over my shoulder, looking for, waiting for, whatever might be trying to sneak up and ruin things. It wasn't all bad, still maybe one of these years I'll be able to trust this holiday.

As you can see from the pic's below it didn't take long to see who was in charge at my sister's place.

including inside on my back porch.

Driving home from work today I came across what I would call the most perfect rainbow I have ever seen. Not just one end of the rainbow either but the entire arching rainbow. Most amazing sight I've seen in a long time....if ever.

To this day I still don't understand what's up with these printer ink cartridge makers. I went to the store yesterday to solve my printing problems, seems I was running low on ink. Well, I ended up coming home with a brand new printer. Why, I'll tell ya or more then likely you already know. It was actually cheaper to buy a new printer then the ink cartridges I needed. Just don't make any sense.

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, though sometimes I feel that might not be so bad. Ok not really.

So what have I been up to lately? Mostly the usual, you know...go to work, come home, go to work and so on. However I did decide to go out and splurge this past weekend when I went out and bought myself a new computer. Spent most of the day Saturday creating CD's so I could transfer the data from my old computer to the new one. Anyone happen to know of an easier and or faster way to do this??









My new toy. I know I probably shouldn't have gotten this. But sometimes I just get tired of settling for second best.
